Dear Brides:
In my last letter, I shared how men and women are much different in the way they communicate and its up to you to help your guy understand your needs. Yes, its up to you to help him realize why it’s important for him to:
- To hold your hand.
- To give you hugs.
- To be affectionate without sexual intentions.
- To be with you alone so you can focus together on your relationship.
- To take a walk together.
- To enjoy a date night every week.
- To go out of his way to do something nice for you.
- To make you his priority by spending time with you.
- To value your opinions.
- To snuggle with you after making love.
These are just a few examples that couples do before they say, I do. The real test is, will they continue to do them after they
e married?
Most guys won’t see the value of doing these things and that’s why it’s important for you to explain why they are so important to you and your relationship.
It’s very easy for you to feel used, unloved, and lonely. When you feel this way, you definitely have little interest in responding to your guy sexually. When your spirit is crushed, your body is unavailable.
That’s why sharing how you feel and what he can do to help you, especially the relationship. It won’t help you to share your concerns with your best friend, but there is a person you can talk to! And that person is your guy. Don’t play the game that some women do and think their guy should realize how you feel because most guys won’t get it. They need help!
As guys, we have a hard time really understanding your message to us. Sometimes it feels like your unhappy, upset, snooping, prying, criticizing or even trying to control us. So its important for us to know what you
e thinking and what your motives are.
The bottom line is you want to connect with your guy and so explain that to him. You want to keep things up to date and you
e asking all the questions because you love him and you want things to be better.
In closing, you may have your guy read this letter and ask him what he thinks. Maybe it will help you both to get on the same page, so to speak.
Until next time,
